Senior Vice President of Global Talent and Animation Production
Ann brings to this role 3 decades of senior leadership experience at the Walt Disney Company, where she last served as the Senior Vice President for Studio Planning and Talent at Walt Disney Animation Studios.
In this highly creative environment, she held executive functions heading Productions, Studio Planning, Data Analytics and Human Resources. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for innovative strategic thinking, transformational leadership and excellence in talent management.
In the animation studio, Ann designed organizational structures, processes, tools and initiatives to support all ongoing productions, the talent strategy and the continued business growth. Her work included the creation of processes for production tracking, informed analytics, workforce planning, talent management and leadership development. During her tenure, the studio released a string of critically and financially acclaimed successes, including Tangled, Wreck-it-Ralph 1 & 2, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Moana, and Frozen 1 & 2.
In 2018, Ann became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and she served for several years on the Advisory Board of Women in Animation, a non-profit organization striving to improve the representation and career opportunities for women in the animation industry.
Currently, Ann is an Executive Fellow at the Harvard Business School (HBS), focused on designing experimental and interactive learning programs for C-suite executives. Under the leadership of Professor Linda A. Hill, her research focuses on how to better prepare leaders for the mindsets and skills required to thrive in the complexity and speed of this digital era.
Ann holds a Masters Degree in Law from the University of Antwerp in Belgium. Originally a Belgian native, and a US and Belgian citizen, Ann is versatile in both European and American cultures and fluently masters Dutch, French and English. Today, she resides with her family in Los Angeles.
