Jeremy Hollis

His first ever shot in VFX production was, serendipitously, of himself, on fire – just needed a dragon.

His first exposure to Wētā FX was as a mocap performer, doubling Jamie Bell on The Adventures of Tintin. After a few more stints for The Hobbit and then the Planet Of The Apes trilogies, he pivoted to a production position at Wētā FX. He has gathered deep experience across the whole pipeline during his time here, with various roles across the facility on credits including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Game of Thrones Season 8, The Batman, and The Green Knight. Most recently, he has shared VFX Producer responsibilities on Avatar: Fire and Ash, one of the studio’s largest projects to date.

Originally from Aotearoa, New Zealand, he is a member of Ngā Aho Whakaari and Te Hāpori Matihiko, supporting Māori participation in screen and technology sectors.
